# Freshdesk - How do I link my account?

## Overview

To authenticate with Freshdesk, you need two key pieces of information:

1. **FreshDesk Domain** - Your Account domain on FreshDesk
2. **FreshDesk API Key** - Your unique account identifier

This guide will walk you through finding or creating those credentials within Freshdesk.

### Prerequisites:

* You must set up an Enterprise account with Freshdesk.

#### Step 1: Finding Your FreshDesk API Key

1. Log into your FreshDesk Enterprise account and nagivate to your profile in the top right hand coner and click **Profile Settings**.

2. Click **View API Key** to reveal your API key.

Important: Copy and store your API Key securely, it will not be visible again once you leave this page.

#### Step 2: Finding Your FreshDesk Domain

1. Your FreshDesk Domain is available in the browser search bar

#### Step 3: Connect Your Freshdesk Account

To authenticate using your API credentials, navigate to the Freshdesk authentication form.
Enter your credentials as follows:

* FreskDesk API Key: Your API Key
* FreshDesk Domain: Your FreshDesk domain

Click "Connect" to complete the authentication.
